About me
Hilda Salinas has been in education for 28 years, but before she was an educator, she was a Social Worker. Hilda practiced Social Work for 20 years before completing her education as an academic counselor, English teacher, and an administrator. She served as an English teacher (7th-12th) for 9 years, an academic counselor for 13 years, and an assistant principal for 6 years. She is originally from the Rio Grande Valley, but her home is in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is currently the Director of CCMR and Counselors at Gregory-Portland ISD. Hilda comes from a family of educators and is very passionate about providing opportunities for all students.
