About me
Jessica received her degree in Early Childhood Development from The University of Texas at Austin and immediately began her career in education teaching in Leander ISD. Jessica is currently in her 15th year of teaching and has taught multiple grade levels.This is Jessica’s third year as a Gifted Specialist at Monta Jane Akin Elementary. As a part of the LISD QUEST (Quality Utilization of Student Talents) program, Jessica is a passionate advocate for rigorous instruction with high student engagement.
