About me
Katelyn Barnhart has over 15 years of experience teaching middle school science and has worked with students from all backgrounds and learning styles. She has worked to create a campus literacy initiative on her campus that promotes literacy in all subjects and grade levels. She has a passion for mentoring new teachers and sharing her knowledge and experience by designing and presenting applicable PD for other educators. She enjoys incorporating Depth and Complexity into her lessons because it gives her students the freedom to choose how they learn and how they represent their learning. When she isn't working with educators and students, Katelyn loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors.
