About me
Melissa Vasquez is one of the Gifted and Advanced Academic Services Coordinator with Round Rock ISD, focusing on elementary programming. She has been a member of the Round Rock ISD family for 12 years. Her career in education started with substitute teaching, after which she became full time as a fourth grade teacher. After five years in fourth grade, she became a campus TAG Specialist and held that role for 6 years. During this time, she worked with students identified for gifted and talented services in kindergarten through fifth grade. Melissa was promoted to the Gifted and Advanced Academic Services Coordinator position in 2022, which includes the 35 elementary campuses of Round Rock ISD.
