About me
Robin Johnson is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Psychology at UNT specializing in Gifted Education. Her research investigates the transformative potential of place-based education for gifted students in small, rural school districts. Leveraging her 26 years of experience as a veteran educator across elementary, gifted, ESL, and higher education settings, Robin brings a unique perspective informed by her life and work within rural communities. This firsthand experience fuels her passion for advocating for gifted learners living in rural communities and under-resourced environments.
