About me
Dr. Shelagh Gallagher is Director of the Office of Gifted and Talented at the University of North Texas. She is an nine-time winner of the NAGC award for exemplary curriculum Her efforts also involve policy and advocacy, including co-authoring the report America Agrees. Other publications include equity in gifted education, the nature of creative expertise, personality and developmental attributes of gifted children, and gender differences in mathematics performance. Shelagh is currently President of the NAGC.
